DAZN Haney vs Gamboa Sat.7th

DAZN is set tonight to showcase their shining star the talented Devin Haney unfortunately the boxing community isn't giving Haney any credit for this fight at least in my view and others I seen on social media. The age difference of the fighters is probably the biggest difference Gamboa is 38 and Haney is just 21, their records look similar on paper 21-0-0 for Haney which is impressive for the youngest especially because he holds the title of WBC lightweight title the only one Teo Lopez doesn't hold, which he grabbed in 2018 after fighting Menard. Gamboa on the other hand pro debuted in 2007 took up the vacant NABF Super featherweight title, WBC International Super Featherweight, and WBO NABO Featherweight title all in 2008, WBA and IBF in 2009, not only that Gamboa has a stunning amateur background having represented Cuba in the Olympic Games. His professional record is 30-3-0, Gamboa's recent lost coming from PPV Star Gervonta Davis in Dec.2019 this will be his first fight since then. Although his age isn't on his side impressively he had the young star Davis go the distance taking a TKO in the 12th round, he fought most of the fight he a torn achilles and had surgery after this fight so coming off a lay-off due to injury and Covid-19 it doesn't look good for him. Haney sets himself up as Super Star and is headlining tonight to defend his title will have a test set before him as he also hasn't fought since November 2019 and is coming of an injury that occurred during that fight on his right shoulder. So tonight should be interesting we got a couple hours left, you can watch on DAZN App, 8pm ET prelims and Haney Gamboa are to head to the ring by 11pm ET. Ill post the Undercard below.
