DAZN Matchup Mexico vs Puerto Rico

Updated: Nov 14, 2021

Tonight we have a matchup between Mexico's own Jamie Munguia and Puerto Rico proud Gabe King Rosado. Both I feel are a statement time in their career I can only hope in this last camp Munguia worked out his defense, my only problem with Munguia his build has been slow but steady and this may be the push he needs in the lime light. Gabe gave us a knockout June 19th beautiful win over Bek Melikuziev, following a lost very controversy lost many thought he won over Jacobs and the fight was robbed from him. Tonight is a move both fighters can seemingly boost their careers and we shall see who wins. Tonight Goldenboy and DAZN network at the Honda Center Anaheim California.

Asa Stevens from Hawaii 1-0 record finished off young Felix Vasquez in round one with the referee stopping the fight for a knockout win.

Fight #2 Round 3 KO win for Jorge Chavez pro debut from San Diego. Round 1 was all Chavez Aguilar was wobbly towards the end of the round, round 2 both suffered a cut due to headbutt, going in to round 3 Aguilar was definitely on his was out saved by the bell. Round 3 Chvez was relentless and with a barrage of combos the ref stopped the fight with no reponse from Aguilar.

Fight #3 Ended with another stoppage by the ref, Alejandro PinPon Reyes moved on to 5-0 over Osmel Mayorga. By round 2 the damage done, and Reyes got the win.

Fight #4 Female Boxing with two Mexican warriors fighting 10 rounds and so hard to score I did think the Score cards were off as did the rest of the crowd, as a split decision for Arley Mucino who I believe is signed to Goldenboy, trained by Joel Diaz in Indio California my hometown ! Mucino did get rocked quite often which why the scoring was so off and boy did the crowd go wild. Jacky Calvo, built like champion battled restlessly. good luck to jacky on her career both girls look like great contenders for Estrada or Esparza.

Fight #5 WBA Continental Americas Lightweight title Was William Zepeda vs John Moralde from General Santos, Philippines. William used this fight to show his skills and litmus know he ready John showed no defense against Zepeda, by round 4 Moralde visibly was showing he did not want to be in the ring. the ref stepped in while he turned his body almost running away from Zepeda. Round 4 KO for Mexico

Fight #6 D'Mitrius Ballard vs Paul Valenzulela up next

Both men seem to be having great spots tagging each other moving in and every other round it feels like the scoring could go in favor of either boxer, Paul keeps moving and keeping things alive, we are in round 8 and again it could both ways like me.

The 9th round and things are still the same round after round, going into round 10 it looks like the last round Is here and I could go either way both showed that they are choosing to leaving the ring without any regrets.

Decision to the score cards UD 98-92 D'Mitrius Ballard win over Valenzulela

Fight #7 Co-Main Alexis Rocha vs Jeovanis Barraza

Round 5 is a contusion of force by Alexis Rocha , with the Colombian following his footsteps with the outer ring looking like it a problem for him. On to round 9 Alexis Rocha seems to be applying pressure every round making me think we will go the full 10 but here we are the Ref once again stopped the fight and Alexis Rocha gets the TKO in round10 Here to the main event.

Fight #8 Main Mexico vs Puerto Rico

Jamie Munguia vs Gabe King Rosado this is a fight Ive been waiting for to see who is moving their career in the upper direction. Stagnate careers have been left lingering to what is become, we have been watching Jamie try and keep up with Mexican superstars and it seems he's not measuring up, Gabe also was stalling in his career then in June of 21 he gave us what we have been waiting for a knock out with such class. I almost prayed. Jamie will be in the ring tonight with a king hoping to get a ko. Im worried mungiua can't live up to the hype but my Raza tells me different. We are in route to cheer on Munguia for the Mexican girl that lives inside of me. Here we go!

Round 1 was dominated by one person and the entire fight belonged to Mexican Jamie Munguia was the top man going all 12 rounds, scorecards read 118-110, 119-109, 117-111 Jamie Munguia Winner !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
